We were given the opportunity to deliver a vacuum chamber for observing cosmic microwave background radiation at the request of the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU), the University of Tokyo Institutes for Advanced Study (UTIAS). In the future, the chamber will be installed at Simons Observatory, located at an altitude of 5,200 meters in Chile, South America, for use in various research projects, including the investigation of the mysteries of dark matter and the Big Bang.
We are honored to have been involved in such a prestigious project in the milestone year of our company's 50th anniversary. Since we only manufacture vacuum chambers, there are still many difficult steps to be taken, such as assembling the contents, but we strongly feel that it was only possible to complete this project thanks to the trust between people at the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, our craftsmen, and our partner factories. Thank you very much.
